The Writer Behind the Words
Winner of multiple international screenplay awards, with numerous finalist, semi-finalist, nominee, and official selection honours at screenplay competitions and film festivals worldwide. Simon O'Corra is a screenwriter, playwright, filmmaker, novelist, editor, and visual artist whose creative career spans more than four decades.
His work includes feature and short screenplays, stage plays, novels, children's books, non-fiction publications, and visual arts projects. His writing explores themes of history, identity, social justice, memory, and human resilience.
With award-winning screenplays, produced films, published books, and written theatrical works, he has established a diverse and internationally recognised creative portfolio.

Emotional Truth
The best stories are the ones that ask uncomfortable questions and refuse easy answers.

Every pause is earned, every revelation is calculated. Silence is a character in its own right.
Solo Practice
Mixed Bag Film is a one-person writing practice. Every script, play, and story is developed by me — project-level collaboration happens only when a specific work goes into production.
